What a lovely little place to stop for a cuppa and slice of cake before tackling the hill back to the car park!! I thoroughly recommend the carrot cake. Deliciously moist. .

We popped in for a quick drink and a scone before climbing back up the hill! The cafe was lovely and clean and the owner, very helpful and friendly. My oat latte was really nice, and the scone was beautifully light with plenty of jam and cream. I really cannot understand the negative reviews, as we thought everything was fantastic! Would definitely recommend 😊

We loved this Cafe for breakfast, the owner was great, really friendly and made a best friend in my little 6 year old boy who wanted to go back and see him everyday ! Had the best sausage and egg sandwiches! Latte was lovely too. We will visit again

Visited twice now and each time had great coffee and food. I'm surprised at all the negative reviews on service. Yes the service could be better but I take my hat off to the guy behind the counter. All the different food and drinks they do he's running around doing everything. I'd like to see half of the people leaving bad reviews do that. I was very surprised and excellent service that he even whipped the cream for the scone it wasn't from a jar. Excellent all round I would highly recommend and would always visit.- Service

Stopped here by chance on our last morning staying in the village. We couldn’t resist the big tasty breakfast baps! Good hearty food all round. The panini menu for lunch looked lovely too.

Stopped after a long walk for a breakfast bun, sausage egg bacon, and black pudding. It was absolutely amazing and a lovely hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows as well. And we couldn't turn down a slice of millionaire shortbread. The gentleman who served up was friendly and welcoming.

We went in for a Cappuccino and a Full Breakfast Bun. Both was great and had a really fair price. Would recommend it.

Fabulous Food. The host welcomed us, five adults, in a friendly open manner. Our coffees and stotties were brought to us by an equally helpful server. The stotties were full of flavour, well presented and were greatly enjoyed by all. We’ll definitely return another time.

A real nice surprise to come across this little gem on a break on a long walk to this pretty little coastal village. Tiny cafe with about 6 tables inside and 2 outside. A really nice range of teas, coffees, and snacks. Pleasant service. A very tasty orange cake and a hot chocolate came quickly even though it was busy. Could not fault. A visit is highly recommended.
Lovely café with friendly, quick service. Had a warm fresh scone, jam and the biggest helping of clotted cream ever served. Definitely recommend

Great place that really knows how to make a coffee - if you’re a coffee lover head for this place. I am always surprised that more places just don’t offer great coffee and great cake! Sounds simple but you don’t always find it. There is seating outside on the road as well as inside, or takeaway as we did and wander down to be beach. I would highly recommend
